Olympiafrica Teqball team on Saturday recorded an impressive win with 3 points against team OYDC Zambia which recorded 1 point during the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge and the Lusaka Teqball tournament.
The competition attracted over 20 athletes with all taking part in the well organized games witnessed by Teqball Federation of Zambia president Dickson Jere.
Jere disclosed that the federation will at the end of the month host the national tournament which will see teams from other provinces taking part.
He added that Saturday tournament showed that athletes have come to appreciate the sport of Teqball and expressed hope that once the national team is formed Teqball will be the next sport which will be bringing medals for the nation at local and regional level.
Meanwhile, OYDC Zambia organised other sports activities in boxing, basketball and handball all under the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge. Over 300 athletes converged at the centre to compete.
