Banda sent out of Parley over dress code

PETAUKE independent Member of Parliament (MP) Emmanuel Banda was yesterday sent out of the House for being improperly dressed.

Mr Banda was asked to leave the House after Mpika Member of Parliament (MP) Francis Kapyanga (PF) rose on a point of order.

Mr Banda was wearing a safari-like suit which was tight on the muscles while the pair of trousers had white stripes on the sides.

In his point of order, Mr Kapyanga asked if Mr Banda was in order to be in the House clad in clothes as if he is a member of the joint investigative team.

“Madam Speaker, when you look at him, his trouser is like that of a police officer, then his jacket is that of a singer.
