NIGERIAN NATIONAL AND 4 ZAMBIANS NABBED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING

The Drug Enforcement Commission-DEC has arrested a Nigerian national for trafficking in over 1 kilogram of suspected cocaine and high-grade cannabis.
DEC Spokesperson Mathias Kamanga says Frank Chidiebere, a male aged 46 was arrested in Lusaka’s Garden House area following a raid that was conducted at his house.
In a related incident, the commission has jointly charged and arrested Cleopatra Tembo and Mirriam Tembo aged 42 and 35 for trafficking in over 1 kilogram of suspected heroine and 40 grams of suspected cocaine.
Mr Kamanga explains that the two sisters were arrested from Libala south following a search that was conducted at their house which has since been seized by the commission.
Meanwhile, the commission has arrested Costa Hamamba, a male aged 27 of Mtendere and Smart Zulu, a male aged 42 of Chipata compound in Lusaka for trafficking in over 1 kilogram of suspected heroine.
