SUSPECTED POISONOUS CASSAVA KILLS CHILD

A 12 year old child has died while nine other people are receiving treatment at Kafue Gorge Hospital after consuming suspected poisonous cassava.

Chikankata Health Director, Dr. Twambo Nambao, has confirmed this to Diamond news.

The incidence happened over the weekend.
