POLICE RECOVER HUMAN SCULL

Southern Province Acting Commanding Police Officer, Moono Namalongo, has disclosed that Police retrieved a human skull and some backbones in Namwala on Thursday.

In a statement availed to Byta FM News, Namalongo says this follows a report made by 53 year old Hamajaya Hamakoko of Halupumpu Village who discovered the skeleton whilst herding cattle in Shokombwe Area.

He says the report was made on Wednesday, 7th September, 2022 around 10:00 hours.

Namalongo notes that Police followed up the matter and managed to retrieve the bones, which have since been kept at the police station pending transportation to a forensic laboratory in Lusaka.
