MAN ARRESTED FOR FORGING LETTER ON CLOSURE OF FNB

Police have arrested NKANDU KATAYA 37, for allegedly forging a letter purporting that First National Bank-FNB- will be closing operations in Zambia.

Police Public Relations Officer RAE HAMOONGA says Mr. KATAYA has been charged with three counts, namely making a Document without Authority, Forgery and Uttering False Documents and Computer-Related Misrepresentation.

In a statement issued to ZNBC News in Lusaka, Mr. HAMOONGA said the suspect is currently remanded in Police custody pending court appearance.
