The Patriotic Front (PF) administration gave five year contracts to directors at Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) instead of the required three years’ period, Minister of Transport and Logistics Frank Tayali has revealed.
Mr Tayali says it is unfathomed that a contract for a director in a public agency should run for a period of five years in tandem with constitutional office-holders.
“Before I forget, something strange happened in the Patriotic Front administration. Contracts were signed for five years instead of the normal three years.
Was this [meant] to be in tandem with the party in power like myself as an elected official?
