A ZAMBIAN woman has died in Geneva, where she went on a one week study tour.
According to a news publication by KIT Royal Tropical Institute, Felani Tembo died on Friday last week.
The publication state that Ms Tembo was a Nuffic Orange Knowledge Programme scholar and was studying for a Master’s in Public Health programme at KIT.
“Felani held a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Zambia School of Medicine. She was a Principal tutor at Chipata School of Nursing and prior to that, she taught at Mwami School of Nursing,” reads the publication.
Ms Tembo applied for a master’s programme at KIT with the ambition of being trained in public health.
She is survived by her husband and son, who are in Zambia awaiting her repatriation.
