POLICE TO BLOCK UNEMPLOYED TEACHERS AND HEALTH WORKERS FROM CONDUCTING A PEACEFUL PROTEST

The conveners if this ‘peaceful protest’ are advised not to proceed with their march slated for tomorrow July 1, 2022.

They claim to have notified the Police but instead they wrote to Police headquarters. Police headquarters has got no regulating officer instead the notice should have been directed to Police Officer-In-Charge in the area of jurisdiction they wish to carry out their protest.

Police headquarters saw their notice today and advised the representative of the unemployed Teachers and Health workers to follow correct procedure.

Police Officers will be on the ground to make sure that law and order is maintained as usual.
