Ndola boy gangs up with friends to defile niece

A SEVENTEEN-year old boy of Ndola on the Copperbelt has ganged up with two of his friends to repeatedly defile his Grade 1 niece aged seven.
The victim who is a Grade 1 pupil at ‘Spring of Life School’ in Ndola’s Kaloko Township is allegedly to have been consistently sexually abused by her uncle and two of his friends between January 1, 2022 and July 25, 2022.

Copperbelt Police Commanding Officer, Sharon Zulu has confirmed to ZANIS that the matter was reported to the police by the victim’s class teacher.
Zulu said on July 25, 2022, at around 09 hours, the victim’s teacher observed a strange behaviour from the minor and upon questioning her, the child revealed that she was sexually abused by her uncle who is also a minor and two of his friends.

“A male teacher at Spring of Life School situated in Kaloko Compound reported to the police that a grade one pupil aged 7 also of New Kaloko Compound was sexually abused by three people of which one of them is an uncle to the girl,” she said.

Zulu said the child’s private part was inspected by the mother who discovered that it was reddish and had some bruises.
She added that the three suspects have since been apprehended and a docket has been opened, also stating that Zambia Police form 32B has been issued to enable the victim to be examined and receive treatment.
