Zambian arrested in Malawi for being in possession with ivory

Police in Mzimba (Jenda) have arrested a Zambian national , Misheck Botha aged 55 for being found in possession of nine pieces of Ivory.

According to Jenda police spokesperson Alfredo Lucio, Botha was arrested on Monday around Jenda trading center following a tip that he was offering for sale the items at 4,250,000 Kwacha.

Misheck Botha is from Ntola village in the area of Traditional Authority Mphamba in Zambia.
