Woman Divorces Her Husband For Refusing To Shave Her

A 30 year old woman of Chinsali in Muchinga Province has sued her husband of 5 years for divorce because he has been refusing to shave her.

Maron Mulenga, wants the court to dissolve her marriage because since her husband (Levy Chewe aged 32) married her five years ago, he has neither shaved her nor allowed her to shave him something she found unacceptable traditionally.

The couple has twins together.
