A 31-YEAR-OLD peasant of Chipangali has killed his 70-year-old grandfather after hitting him with a hoe while his grandmother is battling for her life after he accused them of being responsible for his joblessness through witchcraft.
According to a family member, the grandson, Lusale Shawa, saw the grandfather Bordington Shawa, of Chamalile section under Chief Chinunda, slapping him in his dream after he took a nap during the day on Tuesday.
When he woke up from his dream, he straight away picked a hoe and hit his grandparents, who were seated under the tree.
